This USAF pilot is flying the F-35B from USS America

Capt. Melanie Ziebart is a U.S. Air Force F-16 pilot on exchange with the Marine Corps. She currently flies the F-35B while stationed aboard USS America.

F-35Bs joined CVW 11 for expeditionary strike force operations in South China Sea

For the first time in South China Sea, F-35Bs from the 31st MEU conducted expeditionary strike force operations with Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 11.

BAE Systems to make next-generation IR seeker for THAAD

BAE Systems has been awarded a contract from Lockheed Martin to design and manufacture next-generation infrared seekers for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) weapon system, the company announced on Mar. 17.
