Japan plans to use AI to process data gathered by maritime patrol aircraft

The Nikkei reports that Japan has embarked on a program to process data collected by its maritime patrol aircraft using artificial intelligence (AI) in order to cut down the workload of the crews.

AC-130J has been busy over Afghanistan

Col. Terence Taylor, commander of Combined Joint Special Operations Air Component–Afghanistan, told reporters recently that the new AC-130J gunship are in high demand over Afghanistan.
