Aviation Week: 427th Reconnaissance Squadron is operating the RQ-180

Aviation Week has a new extensive update on the status of the secretive RQ-180 unmanned aerial vehicle. The publication believes that the aircraft is now operational with the 427th Reconnaissance Squadron.

NFO formerly assigned to VP-5 arrested for trying to smuggle military-style boats to China

A naval flight officer formerly assigned to VP-5 and his wife have been arrested in the United States for trying to smuggle military-style boats to China.
