French pilot OK after ejecting from jet
A French Mirage F1 flying home from Chad crashed in northeast Algeria on Wednesday. The pilot ejected safely and landed unharmed.
Meanwhile, Paris is defending its decision to send fighter jets to attack rebel forces in the Central African Republic.
