Greece not keen to buy new fighters for now

Greece is unlikely to buy any new fighters in the short term as the country struggles in the financial crisis.

“There are the Rafale, there are the Eurofighters, there are the American F16, F18, F35. We haven’t entered into any negotiation with the production countries, much less into any internal government discussion on the issue,” Alternate Defense Minister Panos Beglitis said. “The issue is exceptionally premature for us.”
