The U.S. Marine Corps will arm its RQ-7 drones with a classified gravity bomb under a demonstration program.
AAI was awarded a $10 million contract to weaponize the aircraft in December and a follow-on, $7 million contract will then be awarded to deploy eight armed RQ-7s to Afghanistan.
