The U.S. Army has given MD Helicopters a $186 million contract for six MD 530F helicopters for its Rotary Wing Primary Training Aircraft (RWPTA) to be used in Shindand, Afghanistan.
The U.S. Army could order as many as fifty-four aircraft over the life of the four-year contract.
