Italian prosecutors are investigating into alleged corrupt practices at Finmeccanica and the probe has been widened to include a contract to supply India with 12 AW101 VVIP helicopters.
Augusta Westland signed the deal with the Indian Air Force in 2010 but the purchase price was raised by 10 million euros.
