Congressional Research Service says Taiwan would lose 70% of fighters without new aircraft by 2020

A report by the U.S. Congressional Research Service says Taiwan’s fighter fleet would lose 70 percent of its aircraft by 2020 if no new fighters are introduced.

Besides retiring some its F-5s and some aging Mirage 2000s, F-16A/Bs and IDFs would have to be taken out of service for upgrades.
