Stealth coatings behind Raptor cough?

Pierre Sprey says stealth coatings on the F-22 could be one of the reasons behind the Raptor cough.

Stealth Coatings or any other EXTERIOR coating when applied use a solvent or other Carrier to bring the solids to the plane surface where upon it then evaporates leaving the solids behind and the finish you see… There is no more EVAPORATION of solvents or carrier after the coating is cured. So the idea of the coating from an exterior surface causing a problem needs to be re-looked at. Personally i would look into the re-breather used or the ducted air source…
