India’s Vice Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral R K Dhowan, admitted that aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya will enter service without the Barak 8 surface-to-air missile.
Instead, the AK-630 close-in weapon system will be its only defense against any air attack.
