Hindustan Aeronautics’ Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) had carried out cold weather trials at Air Force Station, Leh, recently.
The LCH prototype TD2 was ferried from Bengaluru to Leh. During the trials, the rotorcraft was tested to see if it could start up using internal power after being cold soaked overnight.
