Taiwan’s military has confirmed that two U.S. F/A-18s made an emergency landing at Tainan Airport today at 13:19 local time.

An unverified photo shows one of the aircraft as a F/A-18C from VMFA-332, out of MCAS Iwakuni, Japan.
Update
TV station CTTV said the two jets approached Taiwan from the south and were escorting a electronic warfare jet when one of the Hornets developed an engine problem. Both aircraft have been towed to a hangar at Tainan airport.
