Indian Army to set up two maintenance hubs across the country

The Indian Army has decided that it will no longer send its helicopters to HAL at Bangalore for overhaul.

Instead, two maintenance hubs will be set up by Northern and Eastern Command so that the helicopters can get their servicing down closer to their home base.

The first hub in Jammu region will be operational next month.
