Indonesia’s President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has overturned a decision by the Air Force to purchase three AW101 VVIP helicopters, citing high costs.

“After considering various inputs, the President has decided to disapprove a plan to buy the helicopter,” Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung said.
Anung added that Jokowi felt that the current helicopter is working fine but he will buy a spare helicopter from PT Dirgantara Indonesia.
