Secretary of U.S. Air Force says no to restarting the F-22 line

Secretary of the U.S. Air Force Deborah Lee James said the idea of restarting the F-22 stealth fighter production line is a “non-starter.”

James was speaking at a recent CSIS event in Washington DC when she was asked on the prospect of resuming production of the fighter, which ended in 2011 with 187 aircraft.
