ADS-B data captured by Flightradar24 shows Russia has deployed its newest Tu-214R spy plane to Syria on Feb. 15.

Converted from the Tu-214 airliner under Project 141, the spy plane is a SIGINT platform meant to replace the Il-20M.
The aircraft flew south from Kazan, over Caspian Sea, Iran and Iraq before landing in Syria.
