The new warship is likely to be based on the smaller Tuo Chiang-class corvette and the missiles will be packed into a Mk. 41 VLS at the bow.

Its primary weapon will be a version of the Sky Bow III missile defense interceptor adapted for surface ships. This will deal with high to medium altitude threats.

The TC-2 or Sky Sword II will deal with threats at lower altitude. Similar to the American ESSM, they will be quad-packed in the Mk. 41.

Lastly, to defend the ship against incoming threats, a Sea Oryx missile system will be installed as well.
