VMFA-211 to stand up as 2nd F-35B squadron, 1st Harrier unit to do so

VMA-211 is set to become the second operational F-35B squadron and the first unit to transition from the AV-8B Harrier on Jun. 30.

A redesignation cum change-of-command ceremony will be held at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, said the press release from Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.
