The U.S. Marine Corps is preparing to stand up VMFA-121 as the first operational F-35B squadron at MCAS Yuma next month.
According to Aviation Week, the first F-35B will be delivered in early November, with the second slated for delivery mid-month. Both aircraft will be using Block 1B software.
