USAF F-15Cs to help patrol Bulgarian airspace

NATO has announced that two U.S. Air Force F-15Cs will join Bulgarian Air Force MiG-29s to patrol Bulgarian airspace starting from Sept. 9.

The Alliance said the enhanced air policing measures for Bulgaria is being carried out at the request by the Bulgarian authorities.

The American fighters will be there for a week and operate out of Graf Ignatievo Air Base.
