Italian Air Force KC-767 getting cleared to refuel U.S. Navy aircraft

A Italian Air Force KC-767 aerial refueling tanker is getting busy at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland over a period of six-weeks in order to be certified to refuel U.S. Navy aircraft.

VX-23, VX-31, and Marine Aircraft Group 14 are bring their F/A-18, AV-8B and EA-6B aircraft to the trials. The testing is being supervised by Capt. Jaime Engdahl, U.S. Navy’s Precision Strike Weapons program manager.
