Germany to end its work on Eurofighter program

German newspaper Die Welt reported that production work on the Eurofighter in Germany is expected to come to an end.

Without fresh orders, the line will soon go idle and Spain might follow suit as well. Eventually, only Italy and the U.K. will have an active production line.

Italy will be manufacturing the jets bound for Kuwait while Britain might get new orders from Saudi Arabia.
