No more maintenance contract for India’s PC-7 Mark II fleet

The maintenance contract for the Indian Air Force’s 75 PC-7 Mark II trainers have expired and there are no plans to renew it, Defense News reports.

There are two versions of the reason in the article, one was that the Ministry is against renewing the contract for 36 months due to steep pricing while another version quoting an Air Force official says Pilatus is not extending the offer after New Delhi decided against buying more PC-7s.
