MacKay says accounting to blame for F-35’s $10 billion price gap

Canadian Defense Minister Peter MacKay says the $10 billion gap for buying the F-35 comes down to accounting differences.

MacKay says the Auditor-General concluded the cost of buying the F-35 is $25 billion as they included sunk costs such as pilot salaries, fuel and extending the life of the CF-18s.
