Japan successfully sent its IGS Optical 6 satellite into space from the Tanegashima Space Center on Feb. 27 using a H-2A rocket.
According to NASASapceflight.com, this is the second of the third-generation optical spy satellite developed by the Cabinet Satellite Intelligence Centre.
