A EA-18G assigned to VAQ-138 had to make an emergency landing at Hyakuri Air Base, Japan on May 14 when its cockpit indicator showed low fuel.
It was accompanied by another Growler, both were flying from Guam to Misawa air base at that time of the incident.
They were joined by a C-17 later and by mid-afternoon, all three left Hyakuri.
