U.S. mulls deployment of THAAD in Germany

Reuters is saying that the Pentagon is considering plans to deploy the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile system to Germany.

The talks started before U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw from the 2015 Iran nuclear accord.

Pentagon spokesman Eric Pahon however says “there are currently no plans to station THAAD systems in Germany.”
