Multiple sources told Korea Times that Beijing and Washington are engaged in discussions to withdraw the THAAD air defense missile system from the Korean peninsular.
“Withdrawing the THAAD system from South Korea is part of a peace roadmap being discussed between Washington and Beijing after denuclearizing North Korea,” a source was quoted as saying.
