India’s Navy chief says sea trials for INS Vikrant to commence this year

India’s 23rd Chief of the Naval Staff, Adm. Sunil Lanba, disclosed on Apr. 20 that country’s first indigenous aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant, will be delivered in 2021.

He also assured that sea trials will commence in the latter half of this year.
