Taiwan has confirmed that the new F-16C/D Block 70s being purchased will be deployed at Chih Hang Air Force Base in Taitung.
Air Force chief-of-staff Lt. Gen. Liu Jen Yüan confirmed the bed down location during a legislative session.
Meanwhile, a draft bill to fund the purchase passed a preliminary review by the legislature’s Foreign Affairs and National Defense Committee on Sept. 23.
