The U.S. Air Force has cleared the Falcon Heavy rocket to carry its military satellites into space but SpaceX still has to work on certifying it for the most stressing national security space orbits.

A spokesman for the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center said the Falcon Heavy is certified for two Phase 1A reference orbits.
