The French Air Force and Navy have declared the Rafale F3-R standard as fully opearational on Mar. 8.
The F3-R adds TALIOS targeting pod integration and firing of Meteor air-to-air missile to the Rafale.
The Rafale can now drop the GBU-16 guided bomb and a new air refueling pod (NARANG) has been introduced into service.
An automatic ground collision avoidance system is now standard on the F3-R.
