Japan to bid for Malaysia air defense radar contract

The Royal Malaysian Air Force is seeking to buy one unit of 3D long-range air defense radar and Sankei news says the Japanese government intends to participates in the bidding process.


At the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) in 2019, Japan showcased model of its FPS-3ME and TPS-P14ME AESA radars in the exhibition hall.

Bidding starts next month and bidders have one montht to submit their bids.
