F-35A cleared the B61-12 nuclear bomb flight test exercise

The F-35A has completed its final flight test exercise to drop the B61-12 nuclear bomb. The demonstration was carried out using the B61-12 Joint Test Assemblies (JTAs).

Two separate drops were carried out, according to the F-35 Joint Program Office.

The next time is for the Pentagon and Department of Energy to begin technical analysis of the test data.
