Russia’s First Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Sukhorukov said on Thursday that Moscow has signed contracts to develop and build missile early warning satellites.
According to a report from the U.S. State and Defense Departments, China is stealing U.S. military and civilian space technology in an effort to disrupt U.S. military access to intelligence, navigation and communications via satellites.
The transporter erector launcher (TEL) unveiled by North Korea on Sunday looks similar to an off-road vehicle made by China’s Sanjiang Special Vehicle Company.

North Korea revealed five three-stage long-range missiles carried by large, eight-axle TELs on Sunday. Serial numbers are: 904830216, 901010212, 904830218, 904830215, and 901010418 according to Arms Control Wonk.
The X-37 will play a major role in the Pentagon’s new Air Sea Battle Concept and could be used to blind Chinese sensors providing targeting data for the DF-21D ASBM.
North Korea fired its Unha-3 rocket at 7:39 a.m. this morning. However, the rocket apparently crashed into the sea a few minutes after launch, according to South Korean officials.
