EADS chief Louis Gallois told reporters in London that his company has found a U.S. partner for the KC-X contest but won’t reveal it at the moment.
The company fears a repeat of what happened to L-3 Communications when it was announced earlier that the company was in talks with EADS for the tanker deal. Political pressure in America eventually forced L-3 to withdraw from talks.
