A Taiwanese lawmaker told AFP that the secretive Hsiung Feng IIE cruise missile will be deployed in limited numbers by end of the year.
Lin Yu-fang added that Taiwan was able to start production of the missile after acquiring “key components” needed.
A source close to the ministry said the military “has produced at least dozens of cruise missiles.”
