RNZAF warplanes sale to Tactical Air Services expiring

New Zealand’s Defense Minister Wayne Mapp said the U.S. State Department’s approval over the sale of its A-4s to Tactical Air Services is expiring in a fortnight.

Mapp added that it had cost $34 million in maintenance and other costs for the fleet of Skyhawk fighter bombers and Aermacchi jet trainers in the past nine years.
