Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin has released a letter from British Secretary of State for Defense Liam Fox, who told him the United Kingdom and other JSF international partners are concerned over plans to cancel the second engine for the F-35.
“We think there are very significant cost benefits to be gained for those of us involved in the programme from continued competition,” Fox wrote to Levin.
