The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress on Sept. 13 of a possible Foreign Military Sale to Iraq of 18 F-16IQs.
The jets however will not be armed with the latest air-to-air missiles. Washington will only export the AIM-7M-F1/H and AIM-9L/M-8/9.
