The crash of a CF-18 while practicing for an air show in Alberta this summer was caused by an unexplained loss of thrust in its right engine.
Maj. Kevin Roberts, senior investigator into the crash, said: “That doesn’t mean the right engine failed completely. But it had less output than the left engine.”
