A German consultant working for Eurojet was asked to leave India immediately last month after he was caught trying to bribe officials for the award of an engine contract for India’s Tejas.
Apparently, the media reports earlier about Eurojet’s cheaper bid than rival GE was also planted by this individual after he found out that Eurojet’s offer was more expensive.
