The U.S. Navy has decided to strip two MH-60R flight instructors of their flying status for dipping both their helicopters into Lake Tahoe in September.
The incident, which was caught on YouTube, costs the Navy $505,000 in repairs.
Investigators found the crew of both aircraft were trying to take photos for the squadron’s Facebook page.
