Gates: North Korea could have ICBM in 5 years

U.S. Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates warned that North Korea is becoming a direct threat to the United States and could have a missile reaching continental United States in five years.

“With the North Koreans’ continuing development of nuclear weapons and their development of inter-continental ballistic missiles, North Korea is becoming a direct threat to the United States,” Gates told reporters.
