Jane’s reports that US Aerospace (USAE) is in talks with Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) to bid for the VXX helicopter program and T-X jet trainer program.
AVIC intends to supply the AC313 helicopter to USAE for conversion into a military aircraft. The L-15 will be offered for the USAF’s contest to replace the T-38.
