An air traffic controller error lead to U.S. First lady Michelle Obama’s 737 coming too close to a C-17 while approaching to land at Andrews Air Force Base on Monday.
The civilian controller at the Warrenton radar control center did not give sufficient separation between the 737 and the C-17 in front of it. The Obama jet eventually had to abort its landing.
