Instead of carrying large quantity of maps in their aircraft, U.S. Marine Corps aviators in Afghanistan are using the iPad instead to store their charts.
These pilots fly various types of aircraft like the AH-1W, UH-1Y, AV-8B and KC-130J Harvest Hawk.
