USS Bonhomme Richard to replace USS Essex in Japan

The crews of USS Bonhomme Richard and USS Essex will conduct a hull swap in Sasebo, Japan in February next year.

Essex will be reassigned to the U.S. 3rd Fleet and homeported in San Diego.
