Senator John Cornyn told reporters that he is exploring legislative action to sell F-16C/Ds to Taiwan in case the Obama administration rejects the sale.
Cornyn said he could add an amendment to a defense policy bill expected to be debated in October or November. Any such move could face presidential veto.
